Gai Lindsay is a lecturer and coordinator of the Professional Partners in Practice (PPP) Mentor program for the Bachelor of Education- The Early Years. She is a committee member and WHS representative on faculty and university WHS committees.
Her PhD research explored the visual art beliefs and pedagogy of Australian early childhood educators.
Gai previously served as a preschool teacher and director for 22 years and as a project officer with Community Child-care Cooperative NSW.
Gai is currently engaged in research and consultancy partnerships with the early childhood sectors in Abu Dhabi and Vietnam. These projects are researching the impact of visual arts professional development on the visual arts confidence and knowledge of early childhood educators in both international and bilingual preschools in Ho Chi Minh City.
